The traditional International Scientific Meeting named ʺSustainable agriculture and sustainable development in terms of realization strategic goals of Republic Serbia within the Danube region - preservation of rural values –“, was held on Mountain Tara, in period since 06. 12- 08. 12. 2012.
Scientific meeting is represents products on the project III 46006 "Sustainable agriculture and sustainable development in terms of realization strategic goals of Republic Serbia within the Danube regionʺ, project period 2011-2014., project funded by Ministry of Education, Science and Technical Development of the Republic Serbia.
The meeting has been organized in co-organization between the Institute of Agricultural Economics from Belgrade and 38 eminent Institution from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Greece, Poland, Germany, the Netherland, Moldova, Slovakia, Hungary, USA, Macedonia, Bulgaria, France and Russian Federation, under the patronage of Ministry of Education, Science and Technical Development of Republic Serbia.
With the presence a large number of quests from Serbia and from abroad, Scientific Meeting has been opened with welcome speech of Prof. Drago Cvijanović, Ph.D, Director of Institute, who addressed the audience with congratulations and gratitude because they are magnified the Scientific Meeting and wished them a successful work. Welcome speech in behalf of University Novi Sad held Prof. Radovan Pejanović, Ph.D., in behalf of Faculty of Economics from Subotica held Prof. Stanisla Zekić, Ph.D., in behalf of Chamber of Commerce of Republic Serbia the meeting has welcomed Ph.D. Danica Mićanović, in behalf of the Faculty of Biofarming, Megatrend University, the audience has welcomed Prof. Gorica Cvijanović, Ph.D., in the behalf of the Institute for Science Application in Agriculture the audience has welcomed B.Sc. Vedran Tomić, in the name of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, from Romania the present audience has welcomed Prof. Andreea Raluca Ion, Ph.D., in behalf of the Petroleum – Gas University from Ploiesti, Romania the presents audience has welcomed the Prof. Mariana Eftimie, Dean of Faculty of Economics Studies.
In frame of plenary section, their works are presented prof. Radovan Pejanović, from Faculty of Agriculture – Novi Sad, Republic Serbia; prof. Anrew Fieldsen, from the Research Institute for Agricultural Economics, Budapest, Hungary; and Andreea Raluca Ion, from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Romania.In frame of three section, has been presented 91 scientific papers, with a 176 authors in reviewed papers. Through the papers are assimilater new knowlege in frame sustainable development as an contemporary development approach, strategic planning and institutional and political dimension, as an proces of diversificationa and comparative advantages of rural economy, whic has been touched several aspects in agrobussines.
On the second day of the conference was held the regular assebly of Balkan Scientific Association of Agricultural Economist, on whic has been presented the published editionf of Institute of Agricultural Economic, has been held the round table named ʺContibution to the local community development of the Danube region by diversification of rural valuesʺ, that caused very productive discusion, which is comfirmed the successful of Meeting.
The International Scientific Meeting is caused great interest, which can be seen by significant number of paper whoes been accepted from reviews, and also by visit of the large number of domestic and foreign authors, which indicates the actuality considered topics, as in Balkanian countries, also in in European countries.
